microneedling and cosmetic acupuncture— A Holistic Approach to Skin Rejuvenation
Building on our commitment to gentle, effective treatments, we're excited to offer microneedling and cosmetic acupuncture. These minimally invasive modalities address skin health, while supporting the body's natural ability to heal.
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling uses a precision, penlike device to create controlled micro-channels in the skin, stimulating your body's natural collagen and elastin production. This process helps address a range of skin concerns.
What Can Microneedling treat?
Fine lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin
Dull and dry complexion
Hyperpigmentation
Enlarged pores
Stretch marks
Acne marks
Hair loss
Microneedling is safe for all skin types and ages. This gentle approach works to smooth skin texture, reduce the appearance of scars, fine lines, and wrinkles, boost natural collagen and elastin production, and address pigmentation. It can also help promote hair growth.
What is a treatment like?
Brief exam and assessment, followed by full-body acupuncture to treat the underlying conditions that may be contributing to skin health. This enhances the efficacy of the microneedling treatment.
Skin preparation: Your skin is gently cleansed to remove impurities, creating a clean canvas for the treatment.
Numbing (optional): A topical numbing cream can be applied to targeted areas.
Serum Application: We apply a customized serum to prepare and nourish your clean skin, using gentle products that work with the microneedling treatment to optimize healing and rejuvenation.
Microneedling: The micropen is gently applied to target areas with appropriate depth and pressure, tailored to your specific needs and skin type.
Soothing: The treatment concludes with a calm mist containing arnica and aloe to soothe and comfort your skin.
frequency and duration of treatment:
For optimal results, microneedling is recommended monthly for 4-6 months. In between sessions, progress and health should be supported by facial cosmetic acupuncture treatments. These also include red light therapy, facial cupping or guasha, and nano-needling.
The above information is only a general guide. Everyone is different, so treatment may vary. Please reach out with any questions or to schedule a consultation.
